Rental Policies

Daily Rates

Rental period: typically up to 6 days.
Time frame: begins at time of pick-up.

Weekly Rates


Rental period: Seven days.
Time frame: begins at time of pick-up.
Extra days: Applies on any additional day beyond seven days.

Monthly Rates


Rental period: Thirty days.
Time frame: begins at time of pick-up.
Extra days: Applies on any additional day beyond 30 days

Extra day


Applies on any additional day beyond 7 days for Weekly Rental and 30 days for Monthly Rental and it equals the Daily Rate.

Extra hour charge


Rental rates are based on 24 hr period, beginning at time of pickup.
Extra hour charge applies for every delay hour after due time, and costs 10 USD, and more than 3 hours is considered one extra day.


Local Charges

Charges which are applied locally by the Auto Nation Rent A Car are correct at the time of booking, however, they are subject to change without notice.


Although the Auto Nation Rent A Car provides recent model vehicles, we recommend that you check your vehicle before driving away. (Lights, indicators, all tyres including the spare tyre, etc.) If you are not completely satisfied with any part of the vehicle, this is the time to say so and, if necessary, ask for an alternative vehicle. Every effort will be made to provide the specified model, however, it may be necessary to provide a vehicle with similar specifications (or better) as cars are changed frequently. Any mechanical problems with your vehicle should be reported as soon as possible to the Auto Nation Rent A Car. The Auto Nation Rent A Car can refuse to provide a vehicle to any customer who is, in their opinion, unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances no refund will be due. The Auto Nation Rent A Car reserves the right to apply an additional charge if the vehicle requires extra cleaning following your rental.

Damage to Vehicles

A damage report must be completed by the driver for any damage to the vehicle, however minor it is. If a collision occurs, a police report and case number must also be provided. Clients must contact the Auto Nation Rent A Car in the event of any damage. If this procedure is not followed, the insurance cover could become invalidated, leaving clients liable for all damage.

Extending the rental duration

Extending the rental duration must always be done directly with Auto Nation Rent A Car. If you are extending the rental whilst the rental is taking place, we need to get confirmation of the extension from the Auto Nation Rent A Car. If the vehicle is not available for the extended period, it must be returned at the original time. Failure to return the vehicle on the specified date and time will result in the lapse of insurance cover. The Auto Nation Rent A Car will also charge you directly for any additional time at a higher rate.

Cancellations and Amendments

Cancellations and amendments must always be made with Auto Nation Rent A Car Amendments to bookings are free of charge. Cancellation charges apply as follows: Within 48 hours of placing the booking there is no charge (unless within 48 hours before the rental takes place). When cancelling after 48 hours of making the booking and up to 48 hours before the rental takes place a 30 USD charge is applied. When cancelling within 48 hours before the rental takes place the charge is 50% of the rental price, this is subject to a minimum 30 USD charge. Credit card fees are non-refundable.

In the event of a "NO SHOW" (when the client fails to collect a vehicle and the booking is not cancelled in advance) we are unable to provide any refund. If clients end the hire duration early or are late collecting the vehicle, we are unable to refund any unused hire days.

Complaints Procedure

Complaints must be made in writing to Auto Nation Rent A Car, Amman- Jordan Shmissani King Abdullah Gardens P.O Box 410381 Amman 11141 . Or by email to Complaints will only be handled if received within 7 days of the hire period ending. We will aim to provide a response within 7 days.
